choose concrete for longevity

How does the concrete dock float?

Our docks are built for longevity, stability and durability. We build custom floating docks with a focus on superb detail and quality. Our 10’ x 20’ concrete docks are constructed with sealed, solid, closed-cell polystyrene foam blocks, reinforced with rebar throughout and encased in wire mesh for additional support and strength. A four-inch casing of concrete is poured around the polystyrene and evenly distributed to ensure the dock will be level followed by a vibration of the perimeter to settle the concrete. Once levelled, your choice of surface finish and sealer is applied. Upgrade to add a cedar 4″ x 6″ wood trim to complete the dock’s appearance.
